First 21.5″ iMac Unboxing, Teardown and Geekbench Scores Hit the Web
Apple’s new iMacs were made available for ordering tonight in Canada and the USA, but our friends down under in Australia and Japan got early dibs on the new redesigned iMac. The first unboxing, teardown and Geekbench scores have now hit the web.
Over at BrandonHitTech (via MacRumors), they have unboxed the new 21.5″ iMac. Check out the video below:
Japanese site kodawarisan has posted the first teardown of the new 21.5″ iMac:

As for the first Geekbench scores, Japanese site Macotakara has posted early results of both i5 2.7GHz and i5 2.9GHz models:

Google Nexus 10 unboxing and first impressions

Today I got my hands on the Google Nexus 10 in order to do a proper comparison with the iPad, and to stay up to date on the iPad’s closest competitors. As you’ll recall, I already did a review of the Nexus 7, and came away with a favorable impression of the device.
For the Nexus 10, a lot is the same as the Nexus 7, but a lot has changed as well. The most obvious difference is the form factor. This tablet competes directly with the iPad as far as size is concerned. You’ll also notice a fairly original design, and one of the best, if not the best, screens on a tablet that you’ve ever seen…(…)

Philips Hue Personal Wireless Lighting Unboxing

I know, I’m crazy like that, but I just couldn’t pass up the chance to try something this cool. I bought a Philips Hue Starter Kit for $ 199.95. That’s more than half the price of an iPad mini for a few lightbulbs. But these aren’t any ordinary lightbulbs, as you read in our post yesterday.
The Philips Hue starter kit allows you to dynamically change the colors and lighting of a room using a handy iOS app. You can even turn on your lights while away from home all from your iPhone.
